Every day, on the WFA website we remember a fatality of the First World War. Today - 6 November - we remember not a British or Commonwealth serviceman, but a German. Carl Lody is not, however, an ordinary soldier or sailor, but a very exceptional one. Lody was probably the most famous spy captured during the Great War.
