The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a global watchdog tracking terror financing, has revealed in its latest report that the explosive material used in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack was purchased through the e-commerce platform Amazon. The report highlights the increasing use of online platforms to facilitate terrorism. FATF has also cited the 2022 Gorakhnath temple attack as another example of such misuse. Using both cases as key illustrations, the organisation warned that if e-commerce and
