You don’t have to go heavy all the time. You can up the intensity by shortening the rest period. One of my favorite progressions is on the minute. Up the reps with lighter weights and as you progress slowly drop the reps but still go on the minute and watch your back squat get strong. Weak legs equal weak minds and we don’t have time for either.
