Is it possible to EDIT files with GCFScape? I kind of want to change a music file, but I'm not sure if it's even possible. If anyone here is well versed in GCFScape then help would be appreciated.

It should work fine. GCFScape is abandonware though; you can use VPKEdit instead, which is still maintained right now.
