Wow, talk about a night and day difference. What I found happened is that it took a lot of the mid character with it as well and not in a way I would have ever expected nor to my liking. The old school way of rolling off the tweeter to kill the highs does not apply to this cab the same way.

Got the Persuader yesterday. Wow, what a beautiful bass. Was well cared for also. Was played but not abused. Original case too. Looks like it’s an 86. Setting it up and cleaning it up now. So far so good. Can’t decide whether to put rounds or flats so I’m trying rounds first. Are the truss rods...
